It’s a great herb to use for anxiety and depression protocols and has hypoglycaemic and some antimicrobial properties as it contains eugenol which is also found in cloves.

It is an adaptogen and supports adrenals and restoring stress resilience, and revered for its physical, emotional and spiritual healing properties. It’s a great herb to use for anxiety and depression protocols and has hypoglycaemic and some antimicrobial properties as it contains eugenol which is also found in cloves.
  • Tulsi is used for its anti-inflammatory properties and is used in cancer protocols. It has been shown to be hepatoprotective and is useful for anti-histamine protocols as it contains mast cell stabilising compounds such as myercenol. Traditionally used for fevers. respiratory issues, it is a heart tonic and helps to improve circulation, normalise blood pressure and improve lipid metabolism. It supports digestion, liver detoxification and immune function and is usefufl in a protocol to support withdrawal symptoms in anti-addiction protocols.
  • Tulsi contains ursolic acid, which also found in rosemary and has many actions, including supporting skin healing and elasticity, enhancing antioxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation and modulating inflammation (rosmarinic acid).  It’s also traditionally used in wound and eyewashes.
  • This herb should not be used during pregnancy or lactation and is contraindicated with severe hypoglycaemia or alongside blood-thinning medications.
